The Mass Coordinators play a key role in the smooth-running of the weekend Masses as they are the main contact for the other Mass volunteers. Their role is to ensure that the Readers and Eucharistic Ministers are present, finding replacements should it be necessary. They also ask volunteers to bring forward the gifts of Bread and Wine and to take up the Offertory collection.
We will be seeking to broaden the participation of as many people as possible in the celebration of the Eucharist. Therefore, the more people who are involved in reading, Eucharistic Ministry and the Offertory, the better.
