First Holy Communion
Preparation for the sacrament of the Eucharist is offered to children in their eighth year – Year 3 at school. During this time, the children are invited and helped to appreciate more deeply the important event we celebrate, and to remember the promise of Jesus to be with us always in the sharing of bread and wine.
For a child to be accepted into the First Communion Programme, it is required that at least one parent is a practising Catholic and that the family attend Mass at this Church.
